The crew of the “No Worries” begins with two brothers; Captain Jeff Sturman and his brother Chuck Sturman. They have been fishing together for more than 30 years. It all started when their grandpa took them out flounder fishing, from that very day they never looked back. They have been fishing and boating ever since. The Sturman brother’s first boat was a 12ft boat with a 7 ½ kicker on the back; the Barnegat Bay became their “playground” venturing into the inlet. Soon the brother’s moved on to an 18 foot boat and started fishing along the coast, soon the boat was upgraded to a 22 foot; with each boat came new fishing. Now the Sturman brothers have a 38 foot boat and have vast experience on the Barnegat Bay and offshore, even in Cape May and as far south as Maryland. They have fished every canyon, lump and whole the Jersey Shore offers and loves it; being on a boat and fishing is in their blood and comes naturally.
The “No Worries” is a 38 foot express Out Island with a beam of 14’2” giving the “No Worries” ample room to fight a fish standing up or using the newly installed Murray fighting chair. After landing those fish the “No Worries” has two sizeable in deck fish boxes to keep your catch nice and fresh for the dinner table. The “No Worries” is powered with twin 500hp Yanmar diesel engines with a cruise speed of 28 to 30 knots. The “No Worries has plenty of power to get back to the docks for weighing in the winning catch or to quickly get to the fishing grounds. The “No Worries” has a 100 square feet cockpit which gives plenty of fishing ability when trolling or chunking. The Carolina flare makes the ride to the fishing grounds and back a dry one. The “No Worries is completely loaded with full fishing/safety electronics, along with stereo, TV, VCR, DVD and microwave for your pleasure. The “No Worries” has a roomy restroom with shower. The Captain and crew promise to be professional, knowledgeable, and prepared while having you aboard. Our equipment and tackle is top quality, which some tackle hand made by the crew. The “No Worries” is fully rigged and tournament ready, and we invite novice/experienced people, families and kids. There are no bad days when you are fishing!
